Staying Motivated When Dealing with Stress

Dealing with stress is a very difficult condition which keeps you low and your mind nearly blocked. You cannot think of any possible solution to get out of it. Sometimes staying motivated is also very difficult for a very positive person when he or she is in extreme stress. But like always, giving up is not an option. If you do not keep calm, you may be missing the possibility to get the situation solved. Your stress may be because of a few things in your life, but because of that you may be ruining other matters of concern.

During difficult times, when you are in stress, it is good for you to maintain your calm. This will help you to stay focused and deal with the problems. You should always keep your vision of your purpose clear. During a stressful situation, our motives become unclear to us. Get rid of the thoughts which are blocking your mind to do it. Being optimistic is the best choice you can make at that time. Do things which can get your mind off from current situation for some time. You should always know how to keep your thoughts under control.

Stress reduces your movement both physically as well as mentally. Keep yourself active in some sort of work which can relax you can keep you happy. Do physical movements too. Do not stick on the chair or be a couch potato. Take a stroll around or do some exercises. You may also join the gym and set a target to achieve for your body. It will help you to stay in shape while concentrating on the matters which need your attention. Or you can simple find other creative ways like playing games to keep yourself active.

In stressful times, you should probably check your schedule and if you do not maintain one, make it immediately. May be reordering tasks is what you need. Think about the tasks to do according to priority. If necessary cut time from activities which are unnecessary at that time. It is good for you to entertain yourself, but there are other things at that time which needs more time than that. You can use the beginning of each month, or week or even the start of a day to plan your schedule. Whatever tasks you planned, remember to stick to the schedule.

Keep someone by your side. This will divert your mind and they can provide necessary help too. Being alone just increases your stress. You can hangout with friends for some time. If you and your friend are in similar situations, you can help out each other. Do things like study together, help each other in making plans and when you are out of your difficult situation finally, celebrate together.
